Oil and Gas Companies Operating in Nigeria and other Sub-Sahara African countries including some female delegates, won awards in different Categories at the just concluded 6th Edition of the Sub-Sahara Africa International Petroleum and Exhibition Conference, SAIPEC 2022 Awards Dinner, held on Wednesday night at the Eko Hotel and Suites, Victoria Island, Lagos.
Among the awardees are the Nigerian Liquified Natural Gas (NLNG) which clinched the Operational Excellence Award presented by Jimmy Mugerwa; the NOC of the year presented by Emeka Ene was won by SMH Mauritania; the HSE company of the year was won by Shell, while Breakthrough NOC of the year was won by UNOC.
The Independent Company of the Year presented by Philips Obita, however, went to ND Western; the Local Content Company of the year presented by the Chairman of Petroleum Technology Association of Nigeria (PETAN), Nicholas Odinuwe, was won by INP and the NOC Executive of the Year also presented by Odinuwe, was clinched by Proscovia Nabbanja.
The Women Award Prize presented by the trio of Funmi Ogbue, Patricia Simon-Hart and Ibilola Amao, was won by Cany Jobe; the Regulator making great strides which was presented by Chinedu Maduakoh, was won by ANPG, while the International Oil Company (IOC) of the year which was presented by Elizabeth Rogo was won by Total Energies.
