A caretaker committee has been set us to manage the affairs of the Nigerian Institute of Public Relations (NIPR), Sokoto State Chapter.
This is part of efforts by the Institute's leadership to revive inactive Chapters through the Presidential Chapter Resuscitation Committees (PCRC).
Inaugurated on Friday, 23rd August, 2025, the interim executive committee chaired by Mohammed Sada Suleiman has Samaila A. Yauri as Vice Chairman, Dr. Mijinyawa as Secretary General, while Saidu Alkammawa will serve as the Assitant secretary and ICT Officer.
Other members include: ASP Ahmad Rufai (Financial secretary), Malam Sani Idris, (Treasurer), Miss Elizabeth Ephraim (Public Relations Officer), Malam Shehu Ahmed (Ex-officio 1) and Abubakar Bawa (Ex-officio. 2).
The committee will function for a maximum period of 12 months, setting up necessary structure for a substantive leadership to emerge. NNL.
