The Buhari Media Organisation (BMO) has boasted that Nigeria’s economic growth for 2021 will surpass the 2.5% projected by the International Monetary Fund (IMF).

BMO said in a statement by its Chairman, Niyi Akinsiju, and Secretary, Cassidy Madueke that this is because of the manner the President Muhammadu Buhari administration exceeded all expectations with the country’s speedy exit from recession.

The Buhari Media Organization (BMO) has reacted to the comments by the former military Head of State, General Abdulsalami Abubakar (Rtd) of the Peace Committee, where he claimed that over 6 Million illegal arms were in the country, stating that although this figure is yet to be factually verified, the Federal Government is making serious efforts at mopping up and seizing illegal arms from criminals and arms traffickers.

Prince Philip, the lifelong companion of Britain’s Queen Elizabeth II, has died, Agency reports, quoted the Buckingham Palace on Friday. He was 99.

In a statement, the palace said: “It is with deep sorrow that Her Majesty The Queen announces the death of her beloved husband, His Royal Highness The Prince Philip, Duke of Edinburgh.
