On Friday 27th May, 2022 the Nigerian state laid to rest one of its veteran social activists, patriots and inveterate nationalists, Comrade Anthony Ipriye Uranta in his hometown, Queenstown, Opobo in Rivers State. The funeral obsequies spread between Lagos and Rivers States lasted a week, during which the most celebrated Nigerian civil society activists trooped out from around the country to salute one of their best.
