Among the new Service Chiefs also appointed by the President are: Major-General Ibrahim Attahiru (Chief of Army Staff); Rear Admiral Awwal Zubaru Gambo (Chief of Naval Staff) and Air-Vice Marshal Isiaka Oladayo Amao (Chief of Air Staff).
