Should the Federal Government of Nigeria fail to reactivate the paralyzed Emene Enugu Petrol Depot, the pump price of petroleum product, otherwise known as Premium Motor Spirit (PMS) may cost more in the entire Igbo states of the South East geo-political zone.

Minister of Information and Culture, Alhaji Lai Mohammed, has hailed the management of the Department of Petroleum Resources (DPR) for its ingenuity in ensuring that the impact of the COVID-19 pandemic does not cripple the nation’s economy due to the crash in oil prices.
The Petroleum Products Pricing Regulatory Agency (PPPRA) has said that oil marketing companies are now importing Premium Motor Spirit (PMS), known as petrol and have imported a total of 536,000 metric tonnes of the product into the country.
