President of the Nigerian Institute of Public Relations (NIPR), and Chairman of Council, Dr. Ike Neliaku, was on Wednesday, honoured by the Chukwuemeka Odumegwu Ojukwu University, Igbariam, Anambra State as the institution's Climate Action Ambassador.
Neliaku was confered with the honour at the just concluded 2024 Tree Planting and Climate Action Summit with the theme: "Tree-mendous Action for a Sustainable Future". Besides, the honour was in recognition of NIPR's frontal role in climate preservation.
Acting. Vice Chancellor of the University, Prof. Kate Azuka Omenugha applauded Dr Ike Neliaku for what she described as his exceptional mobilisation of State Chapters of the Institute during the June 1, 2024 nationwide tree planting exercise, a climate action executed by NIPR.
The Vice Chancellor said there were other criteria upon which the NIPR boss earned the prestigious recognition. NNL.
