- * 'He Is Legitimate Chairman Of Our Party', Says Suleiman, Campaign DG

The Director General of the African Democratic Congress (ADC) Global Campaign Council, Abdul-Azeez Suleiman, on Thursday, dismissed as untrue, claims that the National Working Committee (NWC) of the party has been dissolved, describing it "as desperate lies by frustrated expelled people who lack respect for constitutionalism".
Suleiman was reacting against the backdrop of trending information on social media purporting to suggest that factions exist in the ADC. He said the party is intact under it's founding chairman, Chief Ralphs Okey Nwosu (Ikolo Awka), who he described as 'legitimate National Chairman'.
The Director General of the ADC Global Presidential Campaign Council stated that the party's National Secretariat is quite aware of the "desperate propaganda being churned out from hotel bars by a renegade group sponsored by the party’s expelled presidential candidate, Dumebi Kachikwu.
"Without the need to give the Kachikwu group more reasons to feel important, we state here that the legitimate and legally recognized NWC is the one headed by Chief Nwosu with headquarters at No 4, Lusaka Street, Zone 6, Wuse Abuja, and every other communications coming from hotels are from impostors sponsored to serve the dubious political interests of certain forces outside the ADC.
"We are also aware that the conspiracy is actively supported by expelled members of the party who attempted to instigate internal rancor aimed at distracting the party’s focus on the coming general elections while still card carrying members of a rival political party.
"It is important to restate here that the ADC is duly formed in firm conformity with the rule of law and democratic tenets, structured, organized and regulated by the rule of law and the constitution, and shall remain firmly committed to the conduct of its affairs in accordance with, and in conformity to, the law and constitutionalism," Suleiman said.
Meanwhile, the Special Adviser on Media to Chief Ralphs Okey Nwosu, the ADC founding National Chairman, Stacey Yaro, has also reacted to the development in the party. He accused the sacked former Presidential candidate of ADC, Dumebi Kachikwu deliberately working towards throwing the party into political chaos.
Yaro stated on Thursday, September 22, 2022, that "Dumebi Kachikwu has assumed the role of INEC Chairman. But he lacks Prof Mahmood's depth, dexterity and leadership. He cannot even be an Assistant Director in INEC talk more of being a National Commissioner. He boasts that he will squeeze INEC to do his bidding, to remove our Chairman, be he founder or not.
"I am sure we all know how politics work. It is really surprising that anyone would want the ADC National Chairman to make comments on Dumebi's rubbish. Ask the man if he has a Campaign Office. Ask him if he has ever visited his Ward, LGA, and State ever since he was given ADC ticket on a platter of gold. Everyone knows that politics is local, and Dumebi isn't even recognized in his own Constituency.
"Ask him why he is not consulting, and if he lies, ask him who he has consulted. Ask Dumebi if he has resigned from PDP. Ask Dumebi when INEC became his constituency, that the police is even writing to INEC on his behalf. He makes mockery of himself while all other presidential candidates are busy with Electioneering matters.
"We all saw how lowly represented he was at the recently concluded NBA Conference. Party members didn't even know he was going to attend. You all saw the criticism that followed other candidates; Dumebi attended and couldn't even stir a drop of water.
"Ask him why he is so infatuated with Chief Nwosu like a baby is to a feeding bottle. Dumebi's biggest anger is that his moves to disturb the party structure wasn't successful and this is making him look weak to his bankrollers. Someone that was too laid back to care about the scandalous media prints he had with the EFCC and FG is suddenly claiming to be a patriotic Nigerian.
"Before this time, some people had warned us that Dumebi is a loose Canon. People who know his mother and his family in Delta State warned us about his sincerity and his tendency to be malicious, vindictive, vengeful, nasty and vicious. Forget his calm demeanor: even if his paymasters command him to stop, Dumebi will go all length now to destroy all in his paths, including ADC candidates. This has become that personal for Dumebi.
"Anyway, INEC is a responsible institution saddled with conducting election and giving life to our democracy. They are too busy to be driven into trivialities and such ridiculous propaganda by a man who has no respect for institutions and persons, a do nothing and expelled presidential candidate.
"Dumebi is in the news not for campaigning but wanting to steal a political party that he only began to associate with six months ago. Time has a way of revealing true intentions. This isn't the first time he would play this kind of game, but this will be the last time: he won't forget ADC in his lifetime. Not everyone is moved by his dollars", Yaro stated. NNL.
