During my service year in Katsina, I had a proximate symbiotic relationship with the northern cultural system and traditional institutions. I was the leader of Corps members road safety club. We held sensitization exercises at Emir's palace. According to him, he "loved my eloquence" each time I made a presentation. He often hosts us to dinner as a show of appreciation. Since November last year when Ebonyi State Governor, Dave Nweze Umahi, left the Peoples Democratic Party (PDP), and joined the All Progressives Congress (APC), we have not been hearing much about the South East Governors' Forum. We do not know whether Umahi is still the Chairman of the Governors' Forum, or has been replaced by some other person, as the PDP in the South East has done, with the Governor of Enugu State, Ifeanyi Ugwuanyi, replacing Umahi as the new leader of the party in the zone.

When she passed exactly one month ago on 16th January 2021 at the age of 66, an avalanche of tears and lamentations came in overwhelming quantities from allover the country and around the world. But having passed the initial shock and sharp agony of her exit, all have come to appreciate more poignantly, her life of unusual achievements which was multifaceted.
